Karl has called Colorado Springs home since 1984.
He attended Angelo State University in Texas and was certified by the American Board of Opticians. He continued his education by studying under Dr. Stanley Pearle. Karl opened Impressive Eyes Optical and has thoroughly enjoyed serving his community in the Colorado Springs area for over 30 years.
With strong Ojibwe roots, Karl is an active supporter and member of the National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA). He also enjoys Native American powwow dancing and volunteering at the Colorado Springs Indian Center.
Karl has 5 wonderful adult children and 4 amazing grandchildren, who are the light of his life. He was proud to have been Gideon’s (Australian Shepard) favorite pet human, and he will miss the furry lead supervisor at the practice.
